E-One has introduced a mobile UAS command trailer that can serve as a fully climate controlled centre for remote UAS operations, the company announced on 1 February.
The 16ft all-aluminium trailer has been built in partnership with Flymotion. It features multiple work and flight stations, integrated communications, advanced gigabit-class LTE network capabilities along with a large external monitor compartment. The unit can serve as a central command centre for receiving the telemetry, video downlinks and data processing when operating UAS.
The trailer also features drop-down rear ramp door with counter-balance for one-man deployment; full length electrically controlled awning; 6500 watt inverter generator with shore power option; solar panelled roof for extended remote operations; and a 37-RU electronics rack. It also features dedicated charging hub for UAS equipment and electronics; antenna rails around perimeter of the roof which functions as a flight observation deck; 360° high intensity perimeter lighting; and all LED marker and emergency warning lighting controlled from tow vehicle.
The trailer is designed for use by fire departments and law enforcement agencies for missions including SAR, hazmat responses, active shooter situations, mass casualty incidents and SWAT and tactical operations.
